Expressit Courier India - Worst Customer Service

If you are struggling with Expressit Courier OR Expressit Logistics Worldwide Ltd. to find details of your courier than this post is for you...

First Don't worry about "Exception" messages posted on their website for their courier,These guys just enter that receiver was not at home for first few days without bothering to deliver...

Second NONE of their Phone number works,A list of their phone is at http://www.expressitnet.com but NOne of them works,Try anything Delhi,Mumbai,their HQ,Pune,Banglore
Phone is always Busy Or never picked up...I have tried 100 times

Only Hope for you is get the number of local agency who deal with them in your city.www.justdial.in is a good place to find their local number in your area,you will probably able to get a local number of Express it Courier and know about your courier

Perhaps they are providing very cheap service as lot of banks(ICICI,Kotak,HDFC etc...) seems to be using them in past and also Income Tax authority of India also use them but for sure their service is as poor as well

DTDC Courier - Cheats

DTDC Courier India is a famous courier company in India because its cheap and it deliver to almost every corner around India,But being popular and being good are to different things for them.

They never delivered a Gift package send to me from Mumbai and after follow up of 3 months with their useless customer care ,the delivery boy and local manager came at at my residence for giving an explanation...
Local Manager apologizes for poor service and Delivery Boy told he delivered the package to a person on Road outside my home!
Do you believe it? DTDC gives my 5 KG. Packet which was in a big packing worth rupees 1000 INR to someone outside my home thinking its ME!at least this is what they told me

There was nothing I can do further so I give up and losses 1000 INR

My Office don't use them any longer since the incident

Shameless IndiaTimes shopping

Shopping Online in India is always a problem,You don't have much choices and all the shopping portals have bad reputation...Through I see many very BAD reviews for indiatimes shopping I was sticking with them for 2 years and ordered around 10 times ranking from 11000 INR to 200 INR products
They never have a fix date of delivery and customer support is useless...Until recently I was able to get my products in any time 5-20 days but the recent Order I placed for a Book make me rethink and I decided to use them No longer...

I placed a order for a book 1 month back,they charge me instantly only to tell after 12 days that my Book is "Out Of stock" and they will refund me in 3 working days...

Fair enough?No read on...

They did not refund me yet and now its 10 days and to my surprise they still have the same book online ready to be ordered again on website...
Can not they take the Book off line which they know is "Out Of stock" Or at least mention on it

They are too shameless and seems to not to worry about future customers who will order same book again and to repeat my story!

In SHORT DON'T BUY FROM INDIA TIMES IF YOU WANT PEACE OF MIND

Now I am trying Sify Shopping for first time to see how it go,I will post my exp. with them as well soon,I hope it will be better than India times

Update:I am yet to get a refund from Indiatimes through its 20 days now and sify shopping deliver my order after 13 days of order.I am happy they deliver it but I know there customer service is so poor,I send them a email about 7 days back and they are yet to reply to at least acknowledge it.The customer Chat link given on sift site hardly works!Its always says "all agents busy,try later"

Looks There is no meaning of shopping online in India

Reliance Fresh India Selling Expired Products?

I received a Nice post this time from a Friend in India about Reliance Fresh India (A retail chain run by India Large Business Group).

2 Complaints:

1.They are selling Expired Fruits Items (Or atleast not taking pain to remove items from counters after expiry date).He bought a packed Pineapple on 30th July 2007 and expiry date was 29th July.He admits he did not check the date Nor the salesman who bill the item.But who will even think a Store named "Fresh" will sell Expired Items.Approaching them after 2 days did not result any thing even after showing Bills and proof.They admitted it may be their mistake but No refund until you bring that Expired Pineapple !


2.They are always out of staff and he is never able to contact Their customer care as any time he visit them there is no one on Desk.

Airtel India Telephone and Broadband

Airtel India Telephone and Broadband services customer care has crossed new low limits in poor services.

Last 2 months I am getting a late fees charges on my bills through every time I deposit the bill on time (even 2 days before last date this month).I pay by bank cheque and it was deposited to their Airtel office Drop box full 48 hours before last date)

is it my responsibility to get the cheque out of their drop box and deposited it to their bank!

I was able to get refund on these 2 charges by doing straight rough talk to those guys.
any one having same problem should call these guys , they will refuse first but don't give up and insist on talking to a senior manager OR ask for a contact number where you can put further complaint.
Tell them they did not give a separate last date for bill payment by cheques so why we need to pay late fees.

Other Problems:
1)You will receive a prerecorded call to get some ring tone or something like that and you will not able to hangup those calls only to find in next bill that you have been charged a fees for ringtone,you never subscribed.
again call up those poor Customer care and insist you did not subscribed and ask them to show records of the call if any which you made to subscribe.
They will give up finally in steps and refund all charges.

2)False Promises:Their Sales guy said you will receive 3 numbers to call on 66% discount but did not tell its only for fist 3 months.

3)They say you can pay online at airtel.in. any one can find how to pay there?The links to pay online is not there!

4)You can NOT choose which package to choose for telephone and internet separately.They have put so many conditions to apply there.

I don't have much options in India so have to keep those airtel telephones.
Tata Indicom,Relinace,BSNL too have similar issues.

Aramex LEBANON - Not Really a Complaint

Aramex LEBANON - Not Really a Complaint,You do good service.
But Understand Not every country has streets.
There are address without street numbers.

You block my Incoming parcel anticipating address is incomplete and sender has to call twice to verify my address (which was right from first day).

and Aramex India telephone number never works to inquire about parcel status.
It just keep ringing and nobody pickup.

Samsung India AC - Mistake of Life

I purchase a Split 1.5 T AC from Samsung and its looks like We did a mistake of life.
We Spend 26000/- INR (About 700 USD )on it at purchase and have spent more than 5000/- INR (About 120 USD) and as of today (June 2007) its still not working properly.Here is Timeline of our problems with this Samsung India AC.

1)2 Months After Purchase - AC Wall unit start making sound, A call to Custometr care send 2 young engineers ,who open it and pull out a rubber like sheet from its internal,says it was unnecessary. (I tried to ask why compnay put it in first placce,they don't know or did not care to answer)

2)Next Summer after Purchase - AC Stop working.(No Cooling).Their engineer came and replace a capacitor.Cost me 800/- INR .They said its not under warranty.

3)Second Year after purchase- AC Out unit will shut down after 30 minutes of operations.Fan will stop working and compressor will make huge sound and close down for another 30 minutes.Already did 7 calls to customer care and still not rectified.
Here are details:
a)Call 1 - They came and advice me to operate AC at 24 or 25 Degree temp. Same problem.

b)Call 2 - Samsung Engineers came and replaced a small capacitor.Cost me 100 INR.
(Did not rectify the problem)

c)Call 3- Said Your Voltage Stabilizer is faulty.I got its settings fixed.Did not rectify.Cost me 100 INR.

d)Call 4 - Said Your AC unit FAN MOTOR is faulty.They replace it for 1000/- INR.says its not under guarantee.Did not rectify the problem.

e)Call 5 - Said The Capacitor we replace (See point 2) is Wrong.said We add a window AC capacitor by mistake.Replaced.I did NOT Pay This time.

f)Call 6 - Said you should run the AC at 18 Degree temp.

g)Take 10 Telephone calls this time including call to a senior manager in Sam sung Customer care.Every Time I call they say they will replace motor free of cost but its not in Store.
After 7 days I call to call center again and it take some straight talking to get my line connected to a lady(She says she is Supervisor).It moves things a little and first time in last 10 days Samsung Engineer call up himself and visited us and replaced the fan Motor.
His subordinate was not satisfied with Fan speed but He said its ok and it will run fine.

He admitted samsung AC will not work properly in temperature more than 40C !

Let's See.



Am Sick of calling these guys now.
I tried email samsung customer service to get technical details of problems.unfortunately what they said did not match with the knowledge of their field staff.

every time I call them ,I request to send a senior staff to see the problem or escalate the problem.

In Short Samsung India SUCKS!

whether or not my problem with AC is solved,I am not going to buy anything from Samsung in future.
